Jill Maurer is the Gordie Center's Assistant Director and has been with the Gordie Center since 2015. In her role, Jill serves as the Gordie Center's development officer, engaging with our donors and families impacted by hazing and alcohol overdose, as well as stewarding gifts that fund the Gordie Center's programs and initiatives. She plays an integral role in program creation and educational product development. Jill creates all marketing and communication efforts for the Gordie Center, including supervising our student social media assistant and managing our brand. She also oversees the sale of Gordie Center educational materials, and serves on the University of Virginia's Hazing Prevention Advisory Committee. Jill regularly speaks at national conferences, colleges, high schools, and community groups as an expert in hazing prevention, alcohol overdose prevention, peer education, and bystander intervention.

Jill has a Bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia, where as an undergraduate, she founded and chaired the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention Team (ADAPT) peer education group.
