Anthony Hall is the Gordie Center's APPLE Training Institute Program Coordinator. In this role, Anthony manages the APPLE Training Institute and serves as advisor to the UVA Student-Athlete Mentor (SAM) program. Anthony graduated from California State University, Los Angeles with his Master’s in Political Science in 2014 and a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice in 2012. He was also a football and track and field student-athlete. After graduating college, Anthony started his career as a University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Police Officer. While at UCLA, he served on the Crisis Response Team and was a mentor for athletic teams, focusing on building a positive relationship with athletics, and providing substance misuse and hazing education. Anthony also has extensive event planning experience as part of the UCLA Dignitary Protection Team.
Outside of work, Anthony and his wife spend their time as new parents to a happy, beautiful boy. Anthony and his wife love to travel and are always up for an adventure. He also occupies his time by training and competing in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu (BJJ).
